On December 1, Kien Hai Commune People's Committee organized forces to clear and dismantle all violating items, remove rocks, soil, and bamboo stakes to restore the original flow and bank surface of Sang River through Hamlet 8.
Previously, Hai Phong Newspaper, Radio and Television reported "Kien Hai Commune cleared and illegally filled and encroached on the banks of the Sang River". At around 10 p.m. on November 22, the working group on land management and construction order in Kien Hai Commune discovered two locations where people had planted bamboo stakes on the riverbank, dumped soil, and illegally erected corrugated iron walls. At the scene, an old welding machine and a roll of electric wire were discovered. The locality has drawn up a report to handle the incident. Up to now, the perpetrators have not been identified.

Chairman of Kien Hai Commune People's Committee Vu Huy Thuong said that the locality will resolutely handle violations of the law on land, irrigation, dykes and road traffic; strengthen management of construction order, protect technical infrastructure and maintain the safety of the local water flow system.

The People's Committee of the commune requests that people actively cooperate and promptly inform the authorities when detecting violations for handling according to regulations.
