Nguyen Huynh Ngoc An, born in 2012, lives in Hamlet 1, My An Commune, Tay Ninh Province, and is studying in Grade 8 at My An Secondary School. An's family is very poor, has no land to cultivate, and lives in an old house. His mother is a housewife, his grandmother is sick and bedridden, and his father is a worker and does not live with the family.
At the ceremony, the Commune Police gave gifts to Duong Nguyen Huynh Trang and Nguyen Huynh Ngoc An, each including 1 bicycle, 40 notebooks, 1 backpack and cash worth 500,000 VND.
