In his opening speech, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Suoi Hai Commune, Do Manh Hung, emphasized that the important purpose of the meeting is to comprehensively evaluate the implementation results of the resolutions of the People's Council of the Commune in 2025 and consider and resolve key tasks and solutions for 2026, including the following areas: socio- economic development, national defense and security; budget estimates and public investment; allocation of staffing targets; supervision program and organization of People's Council meetings in 2026.

At the meeting, the leader of Suoi Hai Commune People's Committee presented a report on the results of implementing the socio-economic development tasks in 2025. Accordingly, the commune's economy continued to grow steadily, the economic structure shifted in a positive direction, and the service - tourism sector developed strongly.
Specifically, in 2025, Suoi Hai commune will welcome more than 397,000 visitors, with tourism revenue reaching 67 billion VND, an increase of 8.2% compared to 2024. In particular, agriculture will remain stable with a rice area of 366.9 hectares, a yield of 61.3 quintals/hectare; specialized areas will be formed, and white apricot and tea growing villages will be maintained. The work of preventing and controlling livestock and poultry diseases will be drastically implemented; although African swine fever caused more than 10 billion VND in damage, it has been controlled and its spread has been limited.

In addition, Suoi Hai commune has 20 OCOP products achieving 3-4 stars, 5 products proposed to the Central Government for 5-star recognition and 52 products registered to participate in the 2026 assessment. In addition, the commune has issued criteria for new rural construction after the merger, gradually perfecting the standards of advanced NTM communes. In land and environmental management, the commune has newly issued 69 land use right certificates; changed land use purposes in 70 cases, collected over 30 billion VND in budget; deployed a 90-day campaign to clean land data, promptly handled land and construction order violations, and collected 180% of the budget plan assigned by the City...
The meeting passed 6 Resolutions: socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security in 2026; approved the revenue and expenditure budget estimates and public investment plan in 2026; assigned administrative and career staffing targets in 2026; issued the Working Regulations of the People's Council and Committees of the People's Council of the first term; organized meetings in 2026 and the Supervision Program of the People's Council of the 2026.
All resolutions were approved by 100% of the delegates, demonstrating high consensus and affirming their correctness and suitability to the development requirements of the commune. The meeting also listened to reports responding to voters' opinions and recommendations sent before the meeting, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and openness of the local government.

In his closing speech, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Suoi Hai Commune, Do Manh Hung, highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the delegates and the careful preparation of the Commune People's Committee and departments and branches. The meeting completed the entire agenda with a spirit of democracy and responsibility, demonstrating the determination of the political system in carrying out the tasks of 2025 and preparing for the key goals of 2026.
"In the coming time, Suoi Hai commune will focus on organizing the National Assembly and People's Council elections at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; striving to complete the goal of building an advanced new rural commune. Along with that, creating a sustainable source of budget revenue associated with reviewing land funds, transparent auctions, promoting public investment disbursement. In particular, thoroughly resolving the dossiers for granting land use right certificates as well as handling environmental pollution and promoting digital transformation to improve governance efficiency" - Mr. Do Manh Hung emphasized.

Delegates of Suoi Hai Commune People's Council donated to support people in the Central and Central Highlands regions affected by storms and floods.
At the meeting, the delegates of the People's Council of Suoi Hai commune also responded to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, participating in donating to support the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions who suffered damage due to storms. With the spirit of sharing and community responsibility, the total amount of donations collected at the meeting was 25,320,000 VND, contributing to supporting the people in the affected areas to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
