Tay Ninh Hoa Commune launched 4 "Folk Cultural Activities" Clubs

On December 6, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh Hoa commune held a launching ceremony for the "Folk Cultural Activities" Clubs. This is an activity to implement Project 6 under the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas by 2025.

At the ceremony, the Commune People's Committee announced the decision to consolidate 4 clubs in the villages: Suoi Mit, Buon Lac, Song Bung, Buon Dung. Each club has 20 members, organized according to the self-management model, maintaining regular monthly activities. The clubs will carry out a variety of activities such as: Cultural and artistic activities, teaching folk songs, folk dances, traditional musical instruments, customs and practices imbued with the identity of each ethnic group; creating conditions for the community to communicate, have healthy entertainment from traditional cultural values. In addition, the clubs also play a role in preserving and spreading the national cultural identity, contributing to the formation of cultural and community tourism products of the commune.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dinh - Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Hoa Commune People's Committee emphasized that maintaining folk cultural activities is important in preserving the identity of ethnic minorities associated with local tourism development. Tay Ninh Hoa Commune leaders requested the Board of Directors of the Clubs to build a rich and orderly activity, and enhance the teaching of traditional cultural values. The Commune People's Committee will continue to pay attention and support the Clubs to operate effectively.
