Trieu Van commune receives the title of commune meeting new rural standards

This morning, July 29, Trieu Van commune, Trieu Phong district held a ceremony to receive the title of commune meeting new rural standards (NTM) in 2022. Trieu Van is a coastal commune of Trieu Phong district, implementing the new rural construction program from a low starting point. In 2011, Trieu Van commune only achieved 4/19 criteria.

After more than 11 years of implementing the new rural construction program, the appearance of the countryside has changed, the material and spiritual life of the people has been constantly improved, with the average income per capita in 2022 reaching 54 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate has decreased to 3.88%.

The rural transport system has been gradually improved, basically meeting the travel and production needs of the people.

The qualityof education , health care and culture is increasingly improved, the rural environment is significantly improved.

The system of party organizations, government, and socio-political organizations is constantly growing to meet work requirements; improving and enhancing the quality of public administrative services; ensuring and enhancing people's access to the law.

By the end of 2022, Trieu Van commune had achieved 19/19 criteria and was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as meeting NTM standards.

To continue to maintain and improve the quality of the achieved criteria, strive to bring Trieu Van to the status of an advanced NTM commune, a model NTM commune. In the coming time, Trieu Van commune will strengthen propaganda and mobilize all people to actively participate in building NTM; focus on economic development and increase people's income.

Promote the socialization of cultural and social activities. Do a good job of environmental sanitation, direct villages to promote rural beautification work.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong requested Trieu Van commune to continue to promote propaganda and mobilization work, promote the strength and role of the people in building new rural areas to create high consensus in the whole society to participate in this important task.

Focus on mobilizing all resources, integrating programs and projects as well as seeking support from organizations, businesses, and children of the homeland to mobilize contributions of effort, intelligence, and money, creating a combined strength to build the new rural area.

Focus on developing livelihood transformation models and vocational training for rural workers. Pay attention to supporting and promoting the development of value chain linkage models, associated with building brands for key local products in line with the "One Commune One Product" program. Maximize the potential and advantages of the marine economy, associated with tourism development.

Regularly mobilize people to collect and classify waste at source, renovate houses, clean village roads, alleys... to create a bright - green - clean - beautiful environmental landscape. Select a number of typical villages to build model new rural villages, as a basis for gradually building advanced new rural communes, model new rural areas, making rural villages increasingly civilized, peaceful, and livable...

On this occasion, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong presented the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman recognizing the commune as meeting the new rural standards to the Party Committee, government and people of Trieu Van commune, and at the same time awarded a welfare project worth 300 million VND to the locality.

Trieu Van commune has launched a competition to maintain and improve the quality of criteria, striving to build advanced and model new rural areas.
