Truong Mit Commune visits and gives gifts to terminally ill patients and poor households

On the morning of November 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Mit commune, Tay Ninh province organized a working delegation to visit and give gifts to patients with serious illnesses and poor and near-poor households in the commune.

The delegation included Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of the commune Tran Thi Huy Hoang; Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune Huynh Thi Ai Le; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune Nguyen Thi Hiep, along with representatives of departments, branches, mass organizations of the commune and hamlets.

The delegation presented 11 gifts to patients with serious illnesses, each gift included a gift and 1.5 million VND in cash; presented 20 gifts to poor and near-poor households, of which poor households received 1.5 million VND, near-poor households received 1 million VND. The total cost of the gifts was more than 41 million VND, supported by Kim Dung Candle Company Limited./.
