Van Giang Commune: Handing over the "Gratitude Road" to policy families

On the morning of November 14, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Van Giang commune organized the handover of the "Gratitude Road" to policy families in AB Quan Trach village.

The road was built to pay tribute to the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lan (born in 1940), mother of martyr Hoang Van Duong and the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Buon (born in 1951), a 4th-class disabled soldier.

After nearly 1 month of construction, the gratitude road was completed on schedule, ensuring quality, with a total length of more than 40m, poured concrete, 5-8m wide. The total construction cost of nearly 110 million VND was mobilized from socialized sources.

The project was completed and put into use, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and unanimity of the Party Committee, government, organizations, business community and people in the commune to take care of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions, while creating convenience for households in the hamlet to travel.
