Vinh Binh commune held a New Year's gathering to celebrate the Year of the Horse 2026.

On February 11th, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Binh commune (An Giang province) held a New Year's gathering to celebrate the Year of the Horse 2026. On behalf of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Binh commune, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of the commune, Vo Thanh Xuan, informed the delegates about the socio -economic development situation in 2025 and the orientation of tasks for 2026.

In 2025, the commune's economy will continue to develop stably, with 100% of targets met or exceeded. The total value of production in the commune will reach over 4,319 billion VND, achieving 102% of the plan; the average per capita income in 2025 will be over 68 million VND, achieving 101% of the resolution.

Social welfare policies were fully and promptly implemented. The poverty rate decreased to 1.01%, and the near-poverty rate to 2.1%.
