In this series, Inter Miami played impressively and led Palmeiras 2-0 thanks to goals from Tadeo Allende and Luis Suárez.
This result was enough to help Lionel Messi and his teammates enter the knockout round with Palmeiras, because in the same match Porto only managed a 4-4 draw against Al Ahly.
