An Giang Provincial Newspaper and Radio - Television has just received a petition from Mr. Cao Van Pho (residing in Xeo Dinh hamlet, Tay Yen commune, An Giang province) reporting that his daughter - Cao TM (3 years old) returned home with many injuries after being sent to Tay Yen Kindergarten on November 4, 2025.

According to the petition, at around 1:00 p.m. on November 4, 2025, teacher Ly Truc Linh called Mr. Pho's wife to ask her to come pick up the child and "calmly resolve the matter later."

When arriving at school, the family discovered many injuries on the child’s body, including teeth marks, marks from beatings on the arms and legs, a bruise on the left eye, and three bruises on the head. The family said that, in addition to the teeth marks caused by other children, the remaining injuries “showed signs of adult impact,” and asked the press to get involved.

Vice Chairwoman of Tay Yen Commune People's Committee Do Thi Cam Tu said that upon receiving information from the school, the Commune People's Committee directed the commune police to work with Ms. Ly Truc Linh and her family. The Principal of Tay Yen Kindergarten issued Decision No. 49/QD-MNTY to temporarily suspend Ms. Ly Truc Linh from work for 15 days to verify the incident.

According to the initial report, Ms. Linh said that at the time of the incident, she went to the back to bathe another child and returned to see M. fighting over a toy (a round rattle) with her friend. She also confirmed that the class did not have a camera in the room, but only an outside camera to manage property.

On November 5 and 6, the family took the child to the doctor twice. However, the clinic required police records to conduct a disability assessment as required.

Tay Yen Commune Police said they had received the case, taken statements from the teachers involved, and coordinated with the Provincial Police to assess the injuries. The fastest time to get the assessment results is 10 days, the slowest is 1 month.

In response to some social media accounts posting negative images and comments, Tay Yen Commune Police advised people not to share unverified information to avoid causing misunderstandings and affecting families and schools. Those who post false information will be dealt with according to the law.

The People's Committee, the Department of Culture - Society , and the Tay Yen Commune Police visited and encouraged the family, asking them to focus on taking care of the child's health while waiting for the final conclusion from the authorities.
