Building 29 rural traffic bridges to help people

On May 22, speaking with us, Mr. Huynh Van Hai, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province, said that the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province has just reported on the summary of the special political activities and emulation movement to achieve achievements in welcoming the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, towards the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029.

According to the report, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province has carried out propaganda work to all levels of cadres, Party members, union members, association members and people to fully and correctly understand the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies on building and promoting the great national unity bloc as well as affirming the position and role of the Front in the cause of industrialization, modernization and international integration. Through extensive political activities, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels of Tien Giang province has received 4,924 comments on the draft documents of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at all levels in the province.

In addition, the results of the emulation movements also included 280 works to welcome the Congress. Including 29 rural traffic bridges, 174 Great Solidarity houses, 71 rural traffic routes, 06 flower roads. The total cost of the above works was: 86,735,462,814 VND (State budget was 44,615,770,252, People's contribution was 42,119,692,562 VND). Including 3 provincial-level projects, 64 district-level projects... In addition, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province also mobilized funding to build 20 Great Solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory, worth 1,000,000,000 VND and organized 02 working delegations to visit 04 families of martyrs, Dien Bien soldiers, and youth volunteers (directly participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign) including 01 gift and 02 million VND in cash for the family.
