On February 15th, at the Regional Defense Commands in Quang Tri province, the Provincial Military Command organized a conference to announce and present decisions on the conscription of reserve officers into active service and the recruitment of professional soldiers to ensure sufficient personnel for the commune-level Military Commands for 218 individuals.

At the conference, delegates heard the announcement and received 218 decisions from the Ministry of National Defense for individuals, including 59 decisions calling reserve officers into active service and 159 decisions recruiting professional soldiers to ensure sufficient personnel for the commune-level Military Commands in the province.

The head of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command also requested that those called up and recruited in this round quickly stabilize their organizations, strictly abide by military discipline, state laws, and local regulations. At the same time, they should demonstrate a sense of responsibility, proactively overcome difficulties, and be ready to accept and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Reserve officers called up for active service and recruited professional soldiers also expressed their honor and pride, and demonstrated their determination to readily accept and successfully complete all assigned tasks, contributing to building an increasingly strong and modern armed force in the province.

The call-up of reserve officers and recruitment of professional soldiers as civil servants of the Commune Military Command, and their continued assignment to grassroots work in the current period, is a concrete implementation of the major policy of the Politburo and the Central Military Commission aimed at improving the quality of the grassroots political system, building strong local military forces, and meeting the requirements of military and national defense tasks in the new situation.
