In addition to its own tea plantations of over 25 hectares, Hoai Trung Tea Company Limited in Chi Tien commune also collaborates with hundreds of households in the commune and surrounding areas to produce tea products for domestic and international consumption. The company has also been exporting its products to dozens of countries and territories worldwide for over a decade. On average, the company exports more than 1,000 tons of commercial tea annually to markets such as the Middle East, China, India, and Pakistan.
Ms. Bui Thi Mao, Director of the company, commented: "For exported agricultural products, including tea, ensuring that the raw material area meets safety standards plays a crucial role. Only when a standardized raw material area is established can subsequent stages such as investing in clean processing lines, modern preservation technology, and traceability management form a closed loop, ensuring compliance with the requirements of any market."

With over 60 hectares of pink banana plantations, the main market for Bien Xanh Trading and Service Co., Ltd. in Vinh Chan commune is China. Each year, the company exports nearly 6,000 tons of bananas to this market. The business continues to seek and expand its market to several countries in Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe.
Mr. Ha Van Tu, the company director, shared: "Currently, countries are increasingly tightening standards for exported agricultural products, especially raw materials. Therefore, businesses operating in this field need to pay close attention to requiring producers to strictly comply with technical requirements and production standards such as VietGAP, Global GAP... Just one returned shipment can have a huge impact on the business, and subsequent export shipments will be subject to extremely strict controls, creating many disadvantages for the business and the producers themselves."

The province currently has 686 concentrated farming areas for key, advantageous products, covering a total area of 82.8 thousand hectares. 769 farming area codes have been issued, including 109 export-oriented and 660 domestic-oriented codes. Products with high export potential and large cultivation areas include tea (nearly 14.5 thousand hectares); pomelo (approximately 11.7 thousand hectares); oranges (3.65 thousand hectares); and bananas (nearly 7 thousand hectares)...
By 2025, the province will have 48 agricultural, forestry, and aquatic product export establishments with a total export volume of 203,198 tons, valued at 1,791.3 billion VND. This demonstrates that Phu Tho 's agricultural, forestry, and aquatic product exports are becoming increasingly stable, expanding their markets, and gaining acceptance from foreign customers.

The planting area code is not only for management purposes but also represents a commitment to quality, responsibility, and credibility on the part of the producer. Granting planting area codes is not simply a technical procedure but a step towards transitioning from fragmented production to professional production. As integration deepens, the origin of goods becomes increasingly crucial. Building raw material areas linked to traceability is an essential direction to enhance the value of goods in an increasingly competitive environment.
When production is well-organized, with close links between farmers, cooperatives, and businesses, agricultural products not only meet quality standards but also have clear "records" of origin, building trust in the market. This is the foundation for the province to shift from a focus on quantity-based production to in-depth development, emphasizing value and branding.
Comrade Nguyen Van Quan - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, stated: The formation of raw material areas not only helps control the quality of inputs but also creates conditions for the synchronized application of science and technology, reducing costs, increasing productivity and economic efficiency. Simultaneously, the Department will continue to coordinate with specialized agencies and all levels to promote the issuance of planting area codes and cultivation facility codes, linking products with clear origin information to meet the increasingly stringent requirements of the international market.
