The work of preventing and combating corruption has always been of interest and closely directed by the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee. Over the past 5 years (2020 - 2025), the functional agencies in the province have prosecuted over 100 cases related to corruption and positions; Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels have handled and disciplined more than 230 officials and party members who violated the law, including 31 people under the management of the Party committees, including incumbents and retirees. The strict handling of cases has demonstrated the spirit of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions", strengthening people's trust, raising awareness and responsibility of officials and party members in maintaining moral qualities and integrity, contributing to maintaining political stability and promoting socio-economic development of the province.

Looking directly at reality, the province has pointed out that the work of preventing and combating TNLPTC in the area is still limited when the work of propaganda, dissemination and education of the law in some places is not extensive; the control of assets and income of officials and civil servants is not really strict; the coordination mechanism between functional agencies in inspection, examination, investigation, prosecution and trial is sometimes not synchronous. The monitoring activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations are not very effective, and have not fully promoted their role in detecting, criticizing and recommending the prevention of TNLPTC.

To bring the work of preventing and combating corruption into depth, sustainably and effectively, the province has been synchronously implementing key tasks and solutions to enhance the role and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities and leaders. Thoroughly grasp and strictly implement resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party and State; concretize them into directive documents, programs and plans suitable to local realities; link the responsibility of leaders with the results of preventing and combating corruption and negativity in agencies and units.

Comrade Truong Huy Huan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, said: The province has stepped up propaganda and education to raise awareness and sense of responsibility among cadres, party members and people. Innovate the content and form of propaganda to suit each target group; incorporate the content of preventing and combating TNLPTC into the training and fostering program for cadres; promote the role of the people in monitoring, reflecting and denouncing negative behaviors.

The province strives to improve policies, laws and management mechanisms in areas prone to negativity. Authorities should increase publicity, transparency and accountability in decision-making and administrative procedure handling; proactively detect and propose solutions to loopholes and inadequacies in mechanisms and policies.

The work of preventing and combating corruption is a difficult, complicated, and long-term task, but with the high political determination of the entire system and the consensus of cadres, party members, and people, Tuyen Quang is promoting the spirit of responsibility, self-reflection, self-correction, keeping oneself clean, and being a good example of each cadre and party member; turning each agency and unit into a "white zone" of corruption and negativity.
