Sleeper bus overturned in the middle of a rainy night, 20 people luckily escaped

(PLVN) - In the early morning of May 13, on National Highway 55, through Son My Commune, Ham Tan District (Binh Thuan), a limousine sleeper bus suddenly flipped over after losing control and rolling several times in the rainy night. At the time of the accident, there were about 20 people on board. Fortunately, no one was injured.

At around 2:30 a.m. on May 13, a sleeper bus with license plate 72B-034.xx traveling on National Highway 55 from Binh Thuan to Ba Ria - Vung Tau suddenly had an accident, lost control, rolled over several times and flipped over on the road through Son My commune, Ham Tan district, Binh Thuan province.

The vehicle involved in the accident was a 34-bed limousine. At the scene, the front of the vehicle was on the side of the road, while the rear was hanging over the edge of the highway. The roof frame of the vehicle was severely deformed, with many pieces of broken glass and belongings scattered all over the road.

Locals said it was raining at the time of the accident. There were about 20 people on the bus, including passengers and staff. After the accident, all people on the bus were assisted to leave the scene safely.

A representative of Ham Tan Traffic Police Station (under the Traffic Police Department - Binh Thuan Provincial Police), the unit in charge of National Highway 55, confirmed that the accident did not cause any casualties.

Currently, authorities are examining the scene and investigating the cause of the accident.
