A large-scale artistic fireworks display was the highlight of the art program celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, held at 8 PM on January 23rd at My Dinh National Stadium ( Hanoi ).

The fireworks display consisted of six consecutive bursts, culminating in a high-altitude fireworks show lasting approximately 15 minutes.

Many diverse and constantly changing artistic fireworks effects create rich and varied designs in the Hanoi sky.

The fireworks display was set up on the roof and surrounding area of the grandstand at My Dinh National Stadium.

Specifically, pyrotechnic fireworks were installed on the roof and on both sides of grandstand B; high-altitude explosive fireworks were positioned from halfway down Le Duc Tho Street, past the clock tower to the open space in front of the Aquatic Sports Palace, Tu Liem Ward.

The fireworks display system is arranged in an arc shape, expanding the viewing range for spectators both inside and outside the stadium.

Some good locations to watch high-altitude fireworks include the Hanoi Children's Palace area in Nam Tu Liem, Mai Dich Lake Park (for viewing fireworks from a distance), Nhan My village, Le Quang Dao street, Do Xuan Hop street, Dinh Thon street, Hong Do street, Chau Van Liem street, Phu Do street, My Dinh, and the intersection of Le Duc Tho and Ham Nghi streets...

To watch the fireworks display, locals and tourists need to stand near the streets surrounding My Dinh Stadium.

Residents living in nearby buildings such as The Matrix One, My Dinh Pearl, The Emerald, The Manor, or Golden Palace Me Tri... will have balconies facing the stadium, offering an extremely convenient view of the fireworks.

Several buildings, such as Dolphin Plaza and Keangnam Landmark72, are also ideal high-altitude spots for watching fireworks.

Since the roads around the stadium will be completely closed to traffic from 6 PM to midnight on January 23rd, residents and tourists should proactively choose appropriate transportation and plan their travel time accordingly to arrive at the fireworks viewing spot at least 60 minutes before the show begins.

If you're traveling by private vehicle, park around the restricted area and then walk along the streets surrounding My Dinh Stadium for the best vantage point to watch both the pyrotechnics and the high-altitude fireworks display.

The special art program on the evening of January 23rd aims to celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and also to commemorate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026).

The event was chaired by the Hanoi City Party Committee, co-organized by the Hanoi City People's Committee, and broadcast live on Vietnam Television.

The program consists of three artistic chapters: "Epic Song Under the Party Flag," "With the Party, Complete Trust and Love," and "Under the Glorious Banner of the Party," recreating important historical milestones and spreading pride and aspirations for national development.
