“Hello Ca Mau” – Journey to promote Vietnamese Cua brand in Ho Chi Minh City

(HMC) - On the afternoon of November 13, at the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center, the Organizing Committee of the event "Hello Ca Mau" announced detailed information about the program. Accordingly, the event is expected to take place from November 18 to 22, 2025.

Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su said that this is the first time Ca Mau has organized an event in this megacity, not only as a warm greeting but also as a strategic step to fully promote "Forest Scent - Sea Flavor" and the famous Ca Mau Crab brand.

Investment Connection – Unleashing the Potential of the Southernmost Region of the Fatherland

The highlight of the series of activities is the Investment Cooperation Connection Conference for enterprises from Ho Chi Minh City to Ca Mau province, held on the morning of November 18 at Rex Saigon Hotel (141 Nguyen Hue, Saigon ward).

The conference was directed by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); chaired by the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC).

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province Nguyen Van Den added that the conference is expected to gather about 300 delegates including leaders of central ministries, branches, two localities, diplomatic agencies, associations, businesses and domestic and foreign investors.

At the conference, Ca Mau will introduce its potentials, preferential policies, development orientations and a list of key projects, especially in the fields of renewable energy, marine economy, fisheries, processing industry and eco-tourism.

Along with the in-depth discussion program, exhibition space and investment - trade - tourism promotion were also arranged, introducing the image of Ca Mau through publications, OCOP products, digital government models, green agriculture and virtual reality technology.

Ca Mau Crab Festival – “Forest scent, sea taste” in the heart of the megacity

In addition to investment promotion activities, the Food Festival - Ca Mau Crab Festival 2025 is the cultural - tourism highlight of the program, taking place from November 18 to 22 at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House (4A Pham Ngoc Thach, Saigon Ward), chaired by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Department of Industry and Trade of Ca Mau province.

The festival space with 100 booths is divided into four areas: exhibition, display of regional specialties, processing of unique cuisine and cultural and artistic exchange.

In particular, visitors will experience dishes made from Ca Mau crabs and river seafood, enjoy traditional music, Southern folk songs, fashion shows, folk games, and exchange activities with local artisans and businesses.

Through the event "Hello Ca Mau", the Organizing Committee wishes to introduce the unique values ​​of the southernmost land, spread the Ca Mau Crab brand and affirm the cultural identity - people of Ca Mau on the integration journey.
