Nestled peacefully in a valley in the middle of Hoa Binh Lake, Mo Hamlet in Thung Nai Commune, Hoa Binh Province, appears like a vivid ink painting. Surrounded by rolling mountains and winding terraced fields, this place offers a tranquil space, separate from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

Original stilt house architecture

The special highlight of Xom Mo is that nearly 200 traditional stilt houses of the Muong people are still preserved almost intact. These houses are mainly built of wood, with roofs thatched with palm leaves, creating a uniform architectural complex in harmony with nature. Walking on the village road, visitors can clearly feel the simplicity and peace emanating from each house and each stone fence.

Taste of mountain cuisine
