(DN) - On the afternoon of November 25, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Loc commune launched a campaign to support people in provinces and cities affected by storms and floods and launched the suggestion box model "Listening to people's opinions to participate in building the Party and government".

At the ceremony, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Loc commune Nguyen Thi Thuy read an Open Letter calling on all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, people, organizations and businesses in the area to promote the tradition of "Love others as you love yourself", join hands to support people in provinces and cities that are suffering heavy losses due to storms and floods.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of Xuan Loc Commune People's Council Nguyen Thi Cat Tien said: In recent times, the Central and Central Highlands regions have continuously suffered from storms No. 11, 12, 13 and heavy rains lasting beyond historical levels, causing serious damage to people, property, infrastructure and production.

Secretary of the Xuan Loc Commune Party Committee Nguyen Thi Cat Tien called on cadres, soldiers, people and businesses in the commune to actively respond and contribute to help people in flood-affected areas soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Right at the launching ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Loc commune received nearly 103 million VND from officials, civil servants, employees, laborers, and teachers of schools to promptly transfer to support localities affected by natural disasters and floods.

Also at the ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Loc commune launched the suggestion box model "Listening to people's opinions to participate in Party and government building" and presented 31 suggestion boxes to hamlets in the commune.

The implementation of the suggestion box aims to contribute to innovating the method of receiving and processing information, helping the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio- political organizations at the commune level to promptly grasp the thoughts, aspirations, recommendations and proposals of cadres, party members, union members, association members and people towards the Party committee, government and local cadres, civil servants and public employees.

Through the QR code scanning method, the "Suggestion Box" is publicly posted at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, the cultural houses of hamlets in Xuan Loc commune, on the channels and propaganda information pages of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the commune's socio-political organizations.

On this occasion, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company - Vietlott presented a symbolic plaque to donate 2 solidarity houses with a total value of 140 million VND to Xuan Loc commune.
