Nguyen Xuan Son celebrates Tet with rehabilitation exercises at home. In the video posted by this striker on his personal Facebook account, fans can see Xuan Son without any bandages or braces on his leg when practicing. The player born in 1997 shared images of his practice along with famous Tet songs on social media.

Xuan Son was discharged from the hospital on January 24. After a successful surgery, the striker rested and began rehabilitation at the hospital with positive signs.

Xuan Son exercises at home to maintain fitness, muscle and rehabilitation.

At the AFF Cup 2024, Xuan Son made a great contribution to helping the Vietnamese team win the championship with 7 goals. However, in the second leg of the final match at Rajamangala Stadium (Thailand), Xuan Son suffered a serious injury. At the end of the AFF Cup 2024, Xuan Son won the Best Player and Top Scorer awards of the tournament. After returning to Vietnam, Xuan Son underwent surgery for the injury.

MSc. Dr. Nguyen Quyet Thang, Chief Technician, Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Vinmec Healthcare System, said that after surgery, Xuan Son's rehabilitation process will take at least 6 months, divided into 4 stages with clear goals.

"After 6 months of maximum intensity training and meeting standards, Son will be allowed to compete again," Dr. Thang shared.
