Having just competed in round 11 of V-League 2025/26 on November 10, the group of players from Hanoi Police Club and Hanoi FC were allowed by coach Kim Sang Sik to practice recovery at the hotel.

On the field, the remaining players completed light exercise according to the training plan to regenerate energy and maintain stable physical condition after a series of stressful matches in the domestic tournament.

The highlight of the training session was the return of striker Nguyen Xuan Son, marking his return to the national team after nearly a year of absence due to injury. The presence of the player born in 1997 created a positive atmosphere in the whole team.

Sharing on the day of his return, Xuan Son expressed his emotions: “Today is very special to me since I got injured. I always feel proud and honored to wear the Vietnam national team shirt. I am very happy to be back, to see familiar faces from my teammates and coaching staff. My family is also very proud that I have the opportunity to contribute to the national team again.”

In response to concerns about his physical condition, Xuan Son affirmed that he has fully recovered and is ready to compete at a high intensity: “Currently, I am 100% fit, there is nothing to worry about. I will try my best whenever given the opportunity.”

The striker of Nam Dinh club also said that he has maintained serious training in the past time: "I have completed all the training programs of Nam Dinh coaching staff and am always ready. I want to play all the matches, but of course all decisions belong to coach Kim Sang Sik".

In Group F, the Vietnamese team currently has 9 points, temporarily ranked second after Malaysia. Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will continue to train for 4 days in Viet Tri before moving to Laos to play the return match on November 19.
