Over the years, the Spring Volunteer Program organized by the Tay Ninh Provincial Youth Union has become a meeting point for the spirit of initiative and social responsibility. Each spring leaves behind concrete and practical actions, contributing to deepening the people's trust in the role and responsibility of young people.
In 2025, the Spring Volunteer program vividly portrays the journey to remote and border areas – where Tet (Lunar New Year) sometimes arrives later due to difficult living conditions. In the former Tan Bien district (now the communes of Tan Lap, Tan Bien, Thanh Binh, Tra Vong, and Phuoc Vinh), a series of activities were implemented with a total resource of over 2.3 billion VND, spreading values of both social welfare and spirit.

Hundreds of Tet gifts were handed directly to poor students, families receiving preferential treatment, and households in difficult circumstances. The National Flag Road - Road to the Historical Site project on the route leading to the Central Committee Headquarters of the Southern Region not only beautifies the landscape but also awakens national pride and fosters love for the homeland in each citizen.
Spring is also drawing near to many underprivileged households, marked by the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of "Houses of Compassion" and "Red Scarf Houses" for poor students. "My house used to leak when it rained. Thanks to the help of the volunteers, my family now has a new house, and I feel more secure studying. For me, this is the biggest Tet gift," shared Nguyen Doan Bao Trinh (from Thanh Tho hamlet, Thanh Binh commune) emotionally.

The warmth of spring continues to spread to border communes. In Phuoc Vinh commune, hundreds of sponsorship funds have been distributed to disadvantaged children. Zero-cost markets and playgrounds filled with laughter have added to the vibrant spring atmosphere of the border region. Alongside these are activities such as free medical check-ups and medication distribution, visits to families of war veterans, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and border soldiers – acts of gratitude that endure through each Tet holiday.
The Spring Volunteer program also left its mark with lasting projects: rural roads were renovated, new bridges were built, and the "Lighting Up the Border" project contributed to ensuring security and safety for the people. "The roads are bright, the bridges are new, and travel is more convenient; everyone is happy," said Mr. Nguyen Van Trung (resident of Phung Thot hamlet, Nhon Ninh commune) excitedly.

Evaluating the program, the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Tran Hai Phu, affirmed: "The Spring Volunteer program is spreading more and more. More importantly, the spirit of volunteerism has followed the green footsteps to urban areas, rural areas, and border regions, sowing back faith and sustainable values for the community."
Continuing that legacy, the 2026 Spring Volunteer Program was launched with numerous activities focused on disadvantaged areas, remote regions, border areas, and caring for union members, youth, and workers. Activities such as "Lighting Up Dreams of Rehabilitation" at prisons under the management of Department C10, Ministry of Public Security in the province, aimed at fostering hope for reintegration into the community for inmates; donating "Great Solidarity" houses; the "Bringing Tet Home" program; and other environmental protection and social welfare activities continued to be implemented comprehensively and practically.
Therefore, the spirit of volunteering in Tay Ninh does not end after the Lunar New Year holidays. The lights on the roads, the smiles in the homes of those in need... these are the enduring "springtime marks" that the youth of Tay Ninh leave behind - proof of a generation that dares to go, dares to act, and dares to contribute to the community and their homeland.
