The Gala program featured many meaningful activities such as: lion dance to welcome the New Year, cultural performances, and giving gifts and lucky money to orphaned and homeless children, lonely elderly people, people with disabilities at the Center, and children in difficult circumstances in the area. These gifts and wishes for a peaceful New Year brought great joy and encouragement to those less fortunate.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quy, Director of the Social Protection and Children's Center of Dak Lak province, said that the Center is currently managing, caring for, and nurturing approximately 350 people, including 70 orphans and homeless children; many elderly people living alone; and individuals with severe mental illnesses. To ensure these individuals have a fulfilling and warm Tet (Lunar New Year), the Center has developed a plan to organize thoughtful activities to celebrate the New Year. Each ward has its own Tet celebration program, such as making banh chung (traditional rice cakes), decorating rooms, and holding year-end parties. The Gala Night "Spring of Love - Tet of Reunion" is an opportunity for the residents to socialize, share experiences, and create a family atmosphere.
Those who are alone and have no relatives will mostly stay at the Center during Tet (Lunar New Year) and consider it their home. Activities filled with love and sharing are a great source of comfort for them.

HKL (a student from Quang Trung High School, Dak Lak province) emotionally shared that she came to the center at the age of 11 after her mother passed away and her father left. Although she couldn't celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year) with her family like many other children, she was still very happy because she always had the staff and friends by her side. She hoped to study hard in the new year and wished the staff at the center good health and happiness.
Not only at the Social Welfare and Children's Center, but in recent days, many organizations, units, and localities in Dak Lak province have implemented diverse activities to care for people during Tet (Lunar New Year), especially poor and near-poor households and vulnerable groups. Notable programs include "Zero-Cost Booths," visits, gift-giving, essential goods, and cash assistance... helping people celebrate Tet more warmly and fully. These activities demonstrate the spirit of mutual support and compassion, spreading humanitarian values and contributing to strengthening bonds of love within the community, so that everyone can have a joyful and meaningful Spring season.
