
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , Vietnam's coffee exports in October 2025 reached 68.3 thousand tons, worth 394.4 million USD, down 15.8% in volume and 14.7% in value compared to September 2025. However, compared to October 2024, it increased by 50.4% in volume and 51.6% in value.
In the first 10 months of 2025, Vietnam's coffee exports reached 1.31 million tons, worth 7.42 billion USD, up 13.4% in volume and 61.9% in value over the same period in 2024. Vietnam's coffee exports in the first 10 months of 2025 grew positively thanks to high world coffee prices due to reduced supply from Brazil and Indonesia.
As the leading exporter of Robusta coffee, Vietnam has benefited from global demand and an average export price increase of over 40%. At the same time, the proportion of instant and roasted coffee has increased, helping to significantly improve export value. The EU, US, South Korea and China markets continue to increase imports, while Vietnamese enterprises take advantage of tariff incentives and improve logistics.
Vietnam's coffee export activities in October 2025 recorded positive results when exports to major markets such as Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, etc. all increased sharply compared to October 2024.
In the first 10 months of 2025, Vietnam's coffee exports to the EU and the US continued to maintain a steady growth momentum, affirming the position of Vietnamese coffee in the international market. In particular, the breakthrough in exports to the Algerian market with a sudden growth rate has opened up new development space, contributing to diversifying export markets and enhancing the position of Vietnamese coffee in the global trade chain.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade assessed that Vietnam's coffee export growth by 2025 will not only come from price but also affirm progress in product quality and structure.
Price assessment shows that in October 2025, the average export price of Vietnamese coffee increased to 5,774 USD/ton, up 1.3% compared to September 2025 and up 0.8% compared to October 2024. In the first 10 months of 2025, the average export price of coffee reached 5,660 USD/ton, up 42.7% over the same period in 2024.
Assessing the coffee market in the last months of the year, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quynh - Deputy General Director of MXV said that the world and domestic coffee markets will continue to face great pressure of price fluctuations in the last months of the year. Evidence shows that this is no longer a short-term shock, but the beginning of a high price cycle forming a new structure.
