Long An exports grow strongly in February 2025

Total import-export turnover in February 2025 reached over 1.1 billion USD. Of which, exports accounted for 670 million USD, an increase of more than 63% over the same period in 2024. In the first two months of the year, the total export turnover reached over 1.3 billion USD, an increase of more than 22% over the same period. Long An's main export items include textiles, footwear, wood products and processed agricultural products.

The export growth is attributed to the strong increase in international demand for goods after the Lunar New Year holiday, along with businesses taking advantage of opportunities from free trade agreements.

It is forecasted that in March 2025, the province's export activities will continue to maintain growth momentum as many businesses increase new orders.
