(CT) - According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, our country's agricultural, forestry and fishery (AFF) export turnover in the first 8 months of the year is estimated at 45.37 billion USD, an increase of 12% over the same period in 2024.

Specifically, the export turnover of agricultural products reached 24.42 billion USD, up 13.8%; seafood exports reached 7.03 billion USD, up 11.5%; forestry exports reached 11.9 billion USD, up 6.6%; livestock product exports reached 410.7 million USD, up 24.5%; salt exports reached 7.1 million USD, up 200%... By region, Asia is the largest export market for Vietnam's agricultural products in the past 8 months, with a market share of 43.1%. Next are the Americas and Europe with market shares of 23.2% and 14.6%, respectively. The market shares of the two regions of Africa and Oceania are small, accounting for 3.1% and 1.3%, respectively. Compared to the same period last year, the estimated export value of Vietnam's agricultural products in the first 8 months of the year to Asia increased by 1.2%; America increased by 10.6%; Europe increased by 38.7%; Oceania increased by 2.8% and Africa doubled.

In terms of detailed markets, the United States with a market share of 20.9%, China 19% and Japan 7.1% are the three largest export markets for Vietnam's NLTS products. Compared to the same period last year, the estimated export value of Vietnam's NLTS products to the United States increased by 8.1%, China increased by 2.6%, and Japan increased by 19.8%.
