The person who had the idea of organizing this 1K buffet party is Mr. Dang Duc Vinh (29 years old). Mr. Vinh confided that he opened this model to "repay life" because during difficult times he was helped by many people.

Prepared foods such as fried rice, spring rolls, spring rolls... are continuously "replenished" by staff to serve customers.

Explaining the reason for selling 1K buffet to people in difficult circumstances, Mr. Vinh (in black shirt) confided: “When serving people in difficult circumstances, I don’t want them to feel like they are “giving for free”. We serve them in the spirit of selling services by collecting money. And the price here is 1,000 VND. I want everyone who comes here to eat to be a customer, and the customer must be king”.

The buffet restaurant serves nearly 200 guests. Almost everyone who comes is invited to eat and drink, no one is refused with the excuse of "no tickets, full seats".

Using a wooden crutch to sell lottery tickets, Mr. Trung was unexpectedly invited to eat at the buffet. He was surprised and could not believe it was true when the staff helped him to his seat. “I only earn a few tens of thousands of dong a day selling lottery tickets, how could I dare to dream of eating at a restaurant. But today I get to eat delicious food, shrimp, beef. I am very touched,” Mr. Trung confided.

Ms. Mai Thi Giang (in blue shirt), who works as a scrap collector, said that she heard many colleagues talking about the 1K buffet, so she arrived very early to enjoy it. Ms. Giang said that her group came from different rural areas, making a living by collecting scrap, collecting scrap, etc.

The 1K buffet model was deployed by Mr. Vinh 7 times in 2023, then temporarily suspended until August 2024. The 9X guy hopes to continue to maintain it once a month, rotating to many different locations so that more people in difficult circumstances have the opportunity to enjoy delicious food.
