On the afternoon of May 20th, the People's Committee of Thanh Ha commune organized a conference to promote the trade and consumption of lychee fruit in 2026.
Thanh Ha commune has nearly 940 hectares of lychee orchards, including 456 hectares of early-season lychees and the rest being main-season lychees. The locality has 250 hectares of lychees certified to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards.
The entire commune has 17 production areas that have been granted 60 export-oriented planting area codes. Fresh lychees from Thanh Ha have been exported to demanding markets such as the US, Japan, Australia, and EU countries. This has contributed to increasing the value of the local specialty lychee fruit.

The weather during the 2025-2026 winter-spring season did not experience prolonged periods of intense cold, resulting in a lower flowering and fruiting rate for lychees. Preliminary estimates suggest a lychee yield of 5,500 tons in Thanh Ha. The local lychee orchards are cultivated and cared for according to procedures that ensure compliance with export standards.

In the long term, Thanh Ha commune aims to invest in and develop a systematic lychee production area based on ecological agriculture, linked with experiential tourism. The goal is to exploit the value of lychees from multiple perspectives, including economic , cultural, historical, and tourism aspects, in order to establish the Thanh Ha lychee brand.

At the conference, cooperatives and lychee production groups in Thanh Ha commune signed cooperation agreements for the production and sale of lychees with three reputable agricultural export companies nationwide. These companies are: CP Ameii Vietnam; Red Dragon Production, Trade and Service Co., Ltd.; and Dragon Berry International Vietnam Co., Ltd.
