Contributing to the local economic and social development, Yen Chau district has implemented many effective solutions to provide information, advice, and introduce jobs to workers suitable to their abilities and strengths, helping workers have a stable income.

Every year, the district directs specialized agencies to coordinate with communes and towns to review unemployed workers, vocational training needs and aspirations of workers. Create favorable conditions for rural workers to participate in training programs suitable to their strengths and educational level. Monitor and compile statistics on the employment status of workers trained by vocational training facilities after vocational training to have a plan to solve employment. Strengthen the connection between vocational training facilities and enterprises, mobilize enterprises to participate in vocational training; focus on vocational training according to training contracts or orders from enterprises. At the same time, encourage enterprises to self-train workers and cooperate after training.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Head of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Yen Chau district, informed: Currently, there are 48,500 people of working age in the district. According to a survey, the labor recruitment needs of enterprises in the area are 1,000 people and about 20,000 people in industrial parks in the provinces. In 2023, the Department coordinated with the Provincial Employment Service Center to organize many conferences to disseminate and introduce labor market information in communes and towns. Coordinated with MEGALOCK TECH Garment Company Limited in Bac Ninh to survey the labor market in 14 communes in the district, with over 1,200 participants.
In 2023, Yen Chau district coordinated to organize a job fair, provide job consultation and introduction, attracting 20 businesses, employers, training institutions inside and outside the province and over 1,000 workers, union members, youth from 15 communes, towns and high school and junior high school students in the district to participate. Units and businesses introduced labor recruitment needs, recruitment positions, policies of businesses... At the same time, orienting occupations suitable to the capacity and strengths of workers; consulting, introducing, guiding the preparation of documents and procedures for exporting labor to countries: Japan; Korea, Europe... On the basis of consulting and connecting the labor market, up to now, the district has 18 people going abroad for labor; 2,764 workers have been recruited to work at enterprises inside and outside the province, contributing to job creation and stabilizing income for workers.
Mr. Vi Van Thanh, Long Phieng commune, informed: I studied information technology at the University of Transport. In 2018, I graduated but could not find a job. In early 2019, I attended a consulting conference organized by the Employment Service Center in the district, was introduced and connected to work outside the province. After completing my profile, I worked at an electronic components processing company in the Industrial Park in Hai Phong city, with an income of 10 million VND/month.
In addition, the district has directed specialized agencies to coordinate with associated units to train 10 classes on cooking, office informatics, civil electricity, social work, cultivation and plant protection for hundreds of local workers. 21 vocational training classes for rural workers, with 547 students following national target programs for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. The district's Agricultural Service Center organized 10 training classes for 238 people on cultivation and livestock techniques in the communes of Sap Vat, Phieng Khoai, Tu Nang, and Chieng Pan.
Currently, Yen Chau district continues to review and evaluate human resources in the area to develop a training plan and create jobs for local workers; striving to successfully connect jobs for nearly 2,000 workers by 2024, of which over 50% are from poor households, near-poor households, and households that have just escaped poverty in difficult areas.
