Yen Hoa maintains peace so people can enjoy Tet.

On the evening of February 16th (the 29th day of the Lunar New Year), the leaders of Yen Hoa ward organized a delegation to visit and encourage 84 security and order protection teams at the grassroots level throughout the ward.

At the checkpoints and community cultural centers, the atmosphere was one of urgency and seriousness. The leaders of Yen Hoa ward kindly inquired about the living conditions and working conditions of the security team members.

Along with that, the ward leaders acknowledged and commended the voluntary and courageous spirit of the community forces – those who temporarily set aside their personal joys with their families to fulfill the mission of "staying awake so the people can sleep, standing guard so the people can enjoy themselves."

The seamless coordination between the regular police force and the 84 grassroots security teams is considered a crucial extension, helping to cover every corner and promptly handle emerging situations from the outset.

Directly assigning tasks to the on-duty forces, Comrade Nguyen Quoc Khanh - Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Yen Hoa Ward - emphasized that each security team must be a solid "fortress," maintaining the highest level of vigilance to secure the area on New Year's Eve.

The teams need to focus on continuous mobile patrols in key areas, especially apartment complexes and streets with high concentrations of people, to prevent crime. Fire and explosion prevention, and the suppression of illegal firework use, must be prioritized and require close supervision from local forces.

The duty teams must coordinate closely with regular police to quickly handle situations involving public disorder, property theft, and assist in traffic management at temples and pagodas to ensure that people can conveniently and safely visit temples and pagodas at the beginning of the year.

"The presence of grassroots security officers in every street and alley is not only aimed at suppressing crime but also serves as a strong moral support for every resident of Yen Hoa to enjoy the Spring Festival and celebrate Tet with peace of mind," Comrade Nguyen Quoc Khanh emphasized.

With the close guidance of the Party Committee and the determination of 84 security teams, Yen Hoa ward confidently maintains a safe and healthy environment, bringing a peaceful and happy spring to every family in the area.
