Born without knowing his father, at the age of 5 his mother passed away due to a serious illness, little boy Luu Phan Anh, born in 2015, Ngoi May village, Bao Ai commune, soon became an orphan. Phan Anh lived with his grandmother in difficult circumstances.
Since being sponsored through the “Godmother” Program, Phan Anh has had a new support system. The Provincial Police Women’s Association supports her monthly until she turns 18; to date, she has received more than 20 million VND. This money helps her grandmother take care of her life and education.
On every holiday, New Year or new school year, Phan Anh receives gifts, encouragement and visits from the officers of the Provincial Police Women's Union, giving her more confidence and strength.

In an effort to reciprocate that affection, for many years Phan Anh has achieved the title of excellent student and Uncle Ho's good child. He also actively participates in school and commune sports competitions and achieves high results.
Phan Anh was selected to participate in the "Love Summer Camp" Program in 2023 organized by the Women's Union of the Ministry of Public Security and was honored to be part of the children's delegation to congratulate the 8th Congress of the Central Public Security Party Committee in October 2025.
The boy emotionally shared: My mothers often visit and encourage me. I am happy because I am cared for and loved, so I always try to study well to make my mothers happy.

Also the godson of the Women's Union of the People's Police Force, Nguyen Thi Tu Anh in Lao Cai ward clearly feels the love of mothers. Orphaned at a young age, living with her elderly grandparents, Tu Anh always strives to overcome difficulties.
With the support of my godmothers, in the 2024-2025 school year, I achieved excellent results and passed the entrance exam to grade 10 of the Chinese Specialized High School, Lao Cai Specialized High School - the school I have always dreamed of, giving me more faith in a bright future.

The case of Doan Duy Hung in Mau A commune moved many people. His family was poor and Hung himself had bone cancer, so his daily life and travel were extremely difficult. However, with his studious spirit and the timely support of his godmothers, Hung achieved the title of excellent student and Uncle Ho's Good Child in the 2024-2025 school year.
The achievements, maturity and belief in life of godchildren such as Phan Anh, Tu Anh, Duy Hung... are clear evidence of the effectiveness and humane value of the "Godmother" Program in the Provincial Police Women's Committee.
To date, the province has 68 orphans adopted through the program and model of "adopted children of commune police", with support of 300,000 - 500,000 VND/child/month, totaling nearly 1 billion VND. On holidays, Tet or at the beginning of the school year, the children are given school supplies, bicycles, clothes and many other essential items.

Understanding the disadvantages and lack of affection of their godchildren, not only providing material support, the officers of the Provincial Police Women's Committee also regularly encourage, share, and help them overcome their inferiority complex, confidently integrate and continue to study, practice, and nurture hope for a better future.

rise in life
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Huong Ly - Head of the Provincial Police Women's Committee shared: In order for the "Godmother" program to continue to spread widely and further promote the achieved results, The Provincial Police Women's Committee will continue to advise the Party Committee and leaders at all levels to pay attention and direct; coordinate with the police and local authorities to review and sponsor the right subjects; at the same time, promote the socialization of funding sources with the spirit of "no orphan left behind". Along with that, the Provincial Police Women's Committee will continue to do a good job of propaganda to spread the humanistic meaning of the "Godmother" model, from which it can replicate and develop many models such as "godmother", "sponsorship association" to support more children.
With love and devotion, female officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police have become a solid support for orphaned children; giving them strength and helping them confidently step into the future; spreading the humane beauty of the People's Police force and adding to the beauty of the kindness of mothers in uniform.
