On the evening of September 12 in Ho Chi Minh City, YouTube announced the outstanding advertising campaigns within the framework of YouTube Works Awards Vietnam 2025. This annual event brings together more than 300 marketers and brand leaders, to honor creative campaigns that apply technology, especially AI, to create outstanding business results.

YouTube has a diverse ecosystem of content creators and plays a key role in driving the economy.
YouTube continues to assert its central role in the digital lives of Vietnamese people as the platform reaches more than 93% of Internet users aged 18-29, with Gen Z viewership increasing by 125% over the past year. More than 33 million Vietnamese watch YouTube on TV, an average of 4 hours per day. Not only a place for entertainment, YouTube has also become an economic engine as the number of channels achieving 10-digit revenue increased by 35% compared to the previous year.
Data shows that YouTube ads deliver 2.9x higher ROI than TV and outperform other social media by at least 1.2x. On average, ads drive a 20.8% increase in online brand searches.
YouTube Shorts has also proven to be more effective at encouraging brand referrals than any other platform.
This year, the Masters of Media category – honoring media campaigns using AI – became a highlight. La Vie won first prize with the “La Vie World Mental Health Day Campaign”, GrabFood won second prize with “Grab AI Media Master - Empower Everyday Business”, showing that AI not only optimizes advertising but also helps brands connect more deeply with consumers.
Big brands also made impressive performances. Grab Vietnam took home the top prize at Best of Vietnam with its “Grab 10 Years | A Decade Of Impact & Appreciation” campaign, and also won big in the multi-format storytelling category. Samsung grabbed the “Brands & Creators” award for its collaboration with content creators, while Kinh Do Mooncake was honored for its festive campaign.
YouTube also introduced a series of new advertising solutions on Connected TV (CTV), such as full-screen Immersive Masthead and Shoppable CTV that enables shopping directly on TV, promising to open up advertising experiences that combine AI and e-commerce.
“This year's honored campaigns demonstrate how Vietnamese brands and creators leverage multiple formats and AI technology to achieve powerful business impact,” said Marc Woo, General Director of Google Vietnam.
Winning campaigns in Vietnam will continue to compete at the YouTube Works Awards Southeast Asia 2025 on October 7 in the Philippines, where the region's best creative ideas and AI applications will be honored.
