Fierce fire engulfed a fishing boat on Nhat Le River

A fishing boat anchored on Nhat Le River, Dong Hoi Ward, Quang Tri Province suddenly caught fire. Local authorities tried to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to other fishing boats anchored at the same time.

At around 12 noon on September 11, on the Nhat Le River at the wharf area of ​​Ha Thon village, Dong Hoi ward, Quang Tri province, hundreds of fishing boats were anchored waiting to go out to sea to fish when suddenly a fishing boat caught fire. Due to hot weather and strong winds, the fire quickly engulfed the area where the fire broke out.

Upon receiving the news, the Nhat Le Border Guard Station under the Quang Tri Border Guard Command dispatched more than 10 officers, soldiers and vehicles to the scene of the fire to put out the fire. At about 1:10 p.m. the same day, the Quang Tri Border Guard in coordination with relevant units and local people completely controlled the fire.

It is known that the fishing boat that caught fire has registration number QB 91866 and belongs to fisherman Hoang Canh (born in 1992), residing in Ha Thon village, Dong Hoi ward, Quang Tri province. The initial damage and cause of the fishing boat fire are being clarified by the authorities.
