Mr. Nguyen Kim Huy Bang, born in 1991, is currently a civil servant in the Office of Statistics at the People's Committee of Ward 5, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province. With nearly 13 years of dedicated service to the Youth Union and youth movements, Mr. Bang is a prime example and was awarded the "For the Young Generation" commemorative medal by the Central Youth Union.

Mr. Bang's journey of dedication began in 2012, when he served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Ward 5 and Secretary of the Youth Union Branch of Neighborhood 9. Since then, he has held many positions such as: Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Ward 5, Secretary of the Youth Union of Ward 5, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Ward 5, and member of the Executive Committee of the My Tho City Youth Union. Notably, from April 2020 to the present, he has also been a member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Ward 5.

Throughout his career, Mr. Bang, along with the Youth Union of Ward 5, has achieved many outstanding accomplishments, making a significant contribution to the development of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the locality. The branches and sub-branches have been strengthened, and many new clubs have been established, such as: the Law Club, the Hip-hop Club, the International Dance Club, the Volunteer Youth Team, the Shock Youth Team… among which the Youth Club for Boarding House Residents has been highly praised by the City Youth Union.

In addition, Mr. Bang has mobilized a large number of Youth Union members and young people to participate in meaningful projects and activities such as cleaning up and clearing canals, with a total of 289 events involving more than 2,445 Youth Union members and young people. The annual recruitment and troop deployment always achieves 100% success. He has personally participated in blood donation five times, demonstrating his proactive and volunteer spirit.

Typical examples include training courses on agricultural and livestock farming, attracting thousands of young people and youth union members. The "Lighting Up Dreams" program has awarded scholarships to 90 students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Organizing Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations for children and giving gifts to those who overcome difficulties and excel in their studies are also maintained annually, with a total value reaching hundreds of millions of VND.

In particular, Mr. Bang is a dynamic young man, always at the forefront of creating and applying new models. Some notable initiatives include: "Startup Market" (2017), "Humanitarian Bus Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" (2019) aimed at raising funds from scrap materials, "Promoting Resolutions of the Youth Union Congress at all levels using Google Meet" (2020), "Youth-led Trash Can Model Following Uncle Ho's Teachings to Protect the Environment" which brought significant funds to Youth Union activities. Most recently, initiatives such as "Digital Transformation Street" (2023) and "360-Degree Virtual Reality Tour with Presentation" (2024)...

For his contributions over the years, Mr. Bang has been honored with numerous Certificates of Merit and Commendations from the Provincial Youth Union and the Central Youth Union, most notably a Third Prize at the 2014 Provincial Excellent Youth Union Secretary Competition; a Third Prize at the 2023 National Informatics Competition for Young Civil Servants; and a First Prize at the 2023 Tien Giang Provincial Excellent Grassroots Youth Union Secretary Competition.
