3 Vietnamese players enter the competition.

At the Seoul World Cup 2024 (held from November 4th to 10th in South Korea), Vietnam will have 11 billiards players competing. On the opening day of the tournament held in South Korea, three Vietnamese representatives will take to the court: Nguyen Hoan Tat, Nguyen Dinh Luan, and Pham Van Son.

Among them, Nguyen Hoan Tat is the most notable player. Hoan Tat has made great progress in recent international tournaments. In the first qualifying round of the Seoul 2024 World Cup, the Vietnamese player was in Group I with Lee Beom-yeol (South Korea) and Takashi Oosawa (Japan).

Nguyen Hoan Tat will play his first match at the Seoul World Cup 2024 at 1:30 PM today (November 4th, Vietnam time), against the loser of the previous match between Lee Beom-yeol and Takashi Oosawa. Hoan Tat will then play a decisive match for a spot in the second qualifying round at 4:30 PM .

Billiards player Nguyen Dinh Luan entered the competition from the first qualifying round.

The first two Vietnamese players to compete at the Seoul World Cup 2024 are Nguyen Dinh Luan and Pham Van Son, both at 9 AM today (November 4th). Dinh Luan will face Ercan Aydin (Turkey), while Van Son will clash with Park Duk-young (South Korea).

Nguyen Dinh Luan is in Group G with Ercan Aydin and Christian Latorre (Colombia). Meanwhile, Pham Van Son is a relatively new name in the World Cup billiards tournaments held abroad. Van Son is in Group H with Park Duk-young and Denizcan Akkoca (Türkiye).

In the first qualifying round of the Seoul 2024 World Cup billiards, 48 ​​players were divided equally into 16 groups (3 players per group), competing in a round-robin format with points awarded and rankings determined (draws are allowed). The top players in each group will advance to the second qualifying round.
