Five decades of ASEAN-Japan partnership.

At the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh led a high-level Vietnamese delegation to attend the ASEAN-Japan Summit commemorating the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan relations in Japan. This ASEAN-Japan Summit provided an opportunity for senior leaders from ASEAN countries and Japan to assess the achievements of cooperation over the past 50 years and to set directions for the development of relations in the new phase, commensurate with the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
