An Khe district has collected 39.91% of its projected budget.

(GLO) - The People's Committee of An Khe town (Gia Lai province) recently held a conference to review and evaluate the implementation of tasks during the first six months of 2025.

In the first six months of 2025, the leadership and management of the An Khe Town People's Committee were carried out thoroughly, proactively, flexibly, and with a focus on key areas, achieving high results.

The total value of production at current prices is VND 13,192.02 billion, reaching 52.46% of the plan; at constant prices of 2010, it is VND 7,031.8 billion, an increase of 8.96% compared to the same period in 2024. The total retail sales turnover is VND 5,289.26 billion, reaching 57.21% of the plan, an increase of 17.92% compared to the same period last year. Budget revenue in the area reached VND 60.59 billion, reaching 39.91% of the estimate, an increase of 4.09% compared to the same period in 2024.

The field of basic construction investment was implemented according to regulations; ensuring the development of infrastructure serving socio -economic development and being invested in a direction of expansion and synchronization. Administrative reform and improvement of the investment and business environment were implemented from the beginning of the year; socio-cultural fields saw positive changes, contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.

To date, the town has completed the program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for 60 households, achieving 100% of the plan. This includes building 40 new houses and repairing 20 houses with a total mobilized fund of nearly 8 billion VND.

The troop recruitment achieved 100% of the assigned target; combat training for unit defense and fire prevention and control were conducted with sufficient personnel participating. Security and order were maintained, and the nationwide movement to protect national security received widespread participation from the people.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing the management and handover of assets to the new unit after the merger; transferring some ongoing projects to communes and wards for continued implementation; paying attention to directing the organization of the upcoming high school graduation exam; and continuing to work together to successfully carry out all tasks in the newly merged communes and wards…
