Bac Giang has two new Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee.

This morning (December 27), the Executive Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee, 19th term, held its 23rd meeting to elect the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

At the conference, with 100% of the attending provincial Party committee members voting in favor, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong was elected to the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh was elected to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong was born on October 29, 1973; Professional qualifications: Hanoi Law University (Law major), Hanoi Open University (Business Accounting major), Master of Law; Advanced level political theory.

Prior to being elected as the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Huong was a member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Inspection Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Leaders of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the two new Deputy Secretaries of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh was born on July 26, 1980; Professional qualifications: Hanoi University of Transport (Bridge and Road Construction), Thai Nguyen University ( Economic Law), Master's degree in Highway and Urban Road Construction; Advanced level political theory.

Before being elected as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Oanh was a Standing Committee member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department. Prior to that, Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh had served for many years as Deputy Director of the Bac Giang Provincial Department of Transport.

Previously, on December 26, 2024, the Central Party Office issued Document No. 12748-CV/VPTW announcing the opinion of the Central Secretariat on the nomination of personnel to fill leadership positions in Bac Giang province.

The Secretariat of the Central Committee has proposed that Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Inspection Committee, be elected as the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term; and that Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Propaganda Department, be elected as the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
