Bac Giang inaugurates three major projects.

NDO - To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, on the morning of April 19th, Bac Giang province held a ceremony to inaugurate three key projects: the Bac Giang Provincial Cultural and Exhibition Center, the new Bac Giang Provincial Inter-Agency Building, and the road connecting National Highway 37-17 to Vo Nhai (Thai Nguyen).

The Bac Giang Provincial Cultural and Exhibition Center was inaugurated in Dinh Ke Ward, Bac Giang City, with a total investment of over 540 billion VND from the provincial budget. The project covers an area of ​​4.7 hectares, commenced on December 24, 2022, and is scheduled for completion in 2025.

The center includes an indoor exhibition and display area, a 1,000-seat performing arts venue, a cinema, conference rooms, workspaces for staff, as well as comprehensive service areas, parking lots, and a reception area.

This is a modern provincial-level cultural institution, meeting the needs of organizing cultural and artistic events, exhibitions, and exchanges for the people of Bac Giang. The project not only improves the quality of cultural life but also contributes to promoting local identity, attracting tourists, and boosting tourism development.

Bac Giang Provincial Cultural and Exhibition Center.

The new inter-agency building of Bac Giang province, inaugurated at 3/2 Square, Bac Giang city, has a total investment of 698 billion VND from the provincial budget. Construction began on June 16, 2023 and is scheduled for completion in 2025. The project is managed by the Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board.

The building comprises 2 basement levels and 22 above-ground floors, with a total floor area of ​​approximately 40,590 m², equipped with 8 elevators, 3 staircases, and a modern fire protection system. The above-ground floors house offices, storage facilities, and technical rooms. In addition, the project includes auxiliary amenities such as courtyards, pathways, landscaped areas, water supply and drainage systems, and parking lots.

The building, combined with the two existing inter-agency blocks, forms a centralized administrative area, supporting administrative reform, reducing operating costs, and facilitating interaction between organizations, businesses, and citizens with government agencies.

The new Bắc Giang Provincial Inter-Agency Building has just been inaugurated.

The road connecting National Highway 37-17 to Vo Nhai ( Thai Nguyen ) was inaugurated on the same day, with a total investment of over 1,452 billion VND from central and provincial budgets. Construction, which began in December 2021, includes a main route of over 42km and a branch route of nearly 13.8km, passing through Viet Yen town, Tan Yen district, Yen The district (Bac Giang province) and connecting with Vo Nhai district (Thai Nguyen province).

The main route is constructed to Class III road standards, with the section from National Highway 37 to National Highway 17 being 12m wide and 11m wide, and the section from National Highway 17 to Vo Nhai being 9m wide and 8m wide. The branch route from Tan Soi intersection to Phuc Son commune also meets the standards of a Class III road in the plains.

The project includes seven bridges over canals and streams, ensuring convenient and safe transportation. This road enhances inter-regional connectivity, promotes socio-economic development, and especially attracts investment into industrial zones, clusters, and high-tech agriculture in Bac Giang.

The road connects National Highway 37-17 to Vo Nhai.

These three projects, with a total investment of over 2,690 billion VND, are a testament to Bac Giang province's efforts in modernizing infrastructure, improving the administrative environment, and enhancing cultural and economic life.

The projects were completed on schedule and with guaranteed quality, contributing to a new look for the locality and joining in the nationwide atmosphere of excitement towards the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Bac Giang province awarded certificates of merit to many collectives and individuals who have achieved outstanding results in the implementation of projects, recognizing the important contributions of construction units, investors, and related parties.
