Hue: Propaganda and building consensus on the policy of reorganizing the administrative apparatus.

On March 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City organized a conference to disseminate and explain the Resolutions and Conclusions of the Central Committee and the Action Programs of the Hue City Party Committee.

Concluding the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, stated that 2025 is a year of acceleration and breakthrough, a decisive year to achieve the goals and targets in the 2021-2025 five-year socio -economic development plan; in particular, this is also the first year that Hue City officially becomes a centrally-governed city. Making the dream of home ownership a reality for the poor.

In response to the nationwide movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Hoa Binh province is focusing its resources to achieve the set goal by June 2025.

According to Ms. Bui Thi Van, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lac Son District, in response to the 450-day intensive emulation campaign to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the Steering Committees of communes and towns proactively engaged in propaganda and mobilization of all resources to accelerate the progress of house construction for the people. In communes and towns, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, in their role as the coordinating body, assigned member organizations to be in charge, closely monitoring each village and household, encouraging people to take advantage of support from the State and local authorities, and proactively utilize available resources to build and repair houses. With this effective approach, the district has completed, handed over, and put into use 396 houses for poor and near-poor households. (See details)

Promoting dialogue and improving workers' welfare.

Finding solutions to improve the quality of dialogue, negotiation, and signing of collective labor agreements by trade unions has contributed to providing many solutions to support grassroots trade unions in the process of negotiating and signing collective labor agreements. This has helped employers save billions of dong each year.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang, Chairman of the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union, stated that collective labor agreements in grassroots trade unions under the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union only cover approximately 42% of wage-related issues, primarily focusing on negotiating minimum wage, probationary wages, and salary increases.
