During a peak period of crime suppression and through situation monitoring, on August 5, Long Kien Commune Police caught Nguyen Thi My Hanh (born in 1976, residing in My Loi Hamlet) in the act of selling lottery tickets.

At the time of the arrest, the police seized 9 pieces of paper with many numbers written on them (lottery tickets), a total of 746,000 VND, 1 mobile phone and 176,000 VND in cash.

Through investigation, the subject admitted to betting on lottery numbers for money, and also confessed to selling the numbers to two subjects, Nguyen Hoang Vu (born in 1969) and Nguyen Thi Be (born in 1978, both residing in My Loi hamlet, Long Kien commune) for commission.

Long Kien Commune Police invited the subjects to the headquarters to work and prepare a file for handling according to legal regulations.
