As part of a concentrated crackdown on crime and based on intelligence gathering, on August 5th, the Long Kien Commune Police caught Nguyen Thi My Hanh (born in 1976, residing in My Loi Hamlet) red-handed while selling lottery tickets.
The subject is Nguyen Thi My Hanh.
At the time of the arrest, the police seized from the suspect 9 sheets of paper with many numbers written on them (lottery slips), a total of 746,000 VND, 1 mobile phone and 176,000 VND in cash.
Through questioning, the suspect admitted to engaging in illegal lottery betting for money, and also confessed to selling the recorded numbers to two individuals, Nguyen Hoang Vu (born in 1969) and Nguyen Thi Be (born in 1978, both residing in My Loi hamlet, Long Kien commune), in exchange for a commission.
The Long Kiến commune police invited the individuals to the station for questioning and compiled a file for processing according to the law.
