Caught red-handed selling lottery numbers

On the morning of August 6, Long Kien Commune Police said they were consolidating files to handle the subjects who had been discovered selling and playing lottery numbers in the area.

Carrying out a peak campaign to suppress crime and through situation monitoring, on August 5, Long Kien Commune Police caught Nguyen Thi My Hanh (born in 1976, residing in My Loi hamlet) in the act of selling lottery tickets.

The subject is Nguyen Thi My Hanh.

At the time of the arrest, the police seized 9 pieces of paper with many numbers written on them, a total of 746,000 VND, 1 mobile phone and 176,000 VND in cash.

Through investigation, the subject admitted to betting on lottery numbers for money, and also confessed to selling the numbers to two subjects, Nguyen Hoang Vu (born in 1969) and Nguyen Thi Be (born in 1978, both residing in My Loi hamlet, Long Kien commune) for commission.

The Long Kiến commune police invited the individuals to the station for questioning and compiled a file for processing according to the law.
