Hong Duc 2 Hospital was fined.

On April 17th, the Inspectorate of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health announced that it had issued fines to several medical facilities and pharmacies for violations.

Specifically, Hong Duc 2 Hospital (259 An Phu Dong 3, Ward 5, An Phu Dong Ward, District 12) was fined 8 million VND for replacing a prescribed medication with another medication of the same active ingredient, usage, and dosage without the buyer's consent. Mr. Phan Anh Tuan (360 An Duong Vuong, Ward 4, District 5) was fined 4 million VND for being absent from the retail pharmacy during operating hours, except in cases where authorization was granted in his absence as stipulated by law.

The Inspectorate of the Department of Health also issued a decision to fine Cam Ha Pharmacy (Lot F, Hung Vuong Apartment Building, Dang Thai Than Street, Ward 11, District 5) 1.5 million VND and ordered the destruction of confiscated goods for trading in products of unknown origin. The infringing goods were medicines (Flustad 75 and Tamiflu).

The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health has just issued a decision to fine Phuc Hung Private General Hospital (No. 6 Cao Ba Quat Street, Nghia Chanh Ward, Quang Ngai City, Quang Ngai Province) 45 million VND for advertising medical examination and treatment services without having the content approved by the competent state agency before conducting the advertisement as required by regulations.
