BIDV SmartBanking X sets a Vietnamese record.

On the evening of September 27, 2025, within the framework of the music and technology event “BIDV Music Festival - The Emerald X”, the Vietnam Record Organization announced and awarded BIDV SmartBanking version X the certificate for “The digital banking application supporting financial transactions on the most devices”.

This is well-deserved recognition for BIDV 's development strategy and persistent efforts in elevating the digital experience, thereby affirming its pioneering position in creating a comprehensive digital banking ecosystem in Vietnam.

Launched in July 2025, BIDV SmartBanking version X is not just a technological product, but also the culmination of BIDV's 10-year effort to elevate the digital experience. Since laying the foundation for electronic banking services in 2015, BIDV has continuously led the digitalization trend in Vietnam's financial industry with groundbreaking advancements. In 2021, the merger of Internet Banking and Mobile Banking into the new generation of SmartBanking marked a significant turning point. Pioneering features such as eKYC, QR code money transfers, and online savings deposits have rapidly changed transaction habits, bringing digital banking closer to a wider range of users.

It not only helps detect suspicious transactions early but also automatically categorizes spending, helping customers manage their finances scientifically and effectively.

Simultaneously, the sophisticated blend of cutting-edge technology and user-friendly design in this update is clearly demonstrated through two interface versions: Pearl X, with its bright and dynamic color scheme for the modern younger generation; and Emerald X, a luxurious and refined version with exclusive features and 1:1 support for premium customers. Each version allows users to fully customize according to their personal preferences, from background images and profile pictures to the arrangement of prioritized functions.

The "Emerald X - Touching Heritage, Opening the Future" music festival on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street (Ho Chi Minh City) created a special mark when thousands of spectators witnessed the moment BIDV SmartBanking was honored with a Vietnamese Record.
