The 15th Corps organized a live-fire test.

(GLO)- On September 19, Army Corps 15 organized a live-fire test in the 2025 training program for officers and professional soldiers of the Army Corps' functional agencies and affiliated units stationed in Thong Nhat ward (Gia Lai province).

Attending and directing at the shooting range were Major General Hoang Van Sy - Corps Commander; Colonel Khuat Ba Cao - Party Committee Secretary, Deputy Commander of the Corps; and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Command of Corps 15.

According to the 2025 training plan, from August 18 to September 20, 418 officers and professional soldiers of the functional agencies of the 15th Army Corps and its affiliated units stationed in Thong Nhat ward participated in political training, training on regulations, shooting K54 and AK submachine guns (lesson 1), physical training, military discipline, to meet mission requirements in the new situation.

Although there were many difficulties in ensuring both professional work and training, the Party Committee and Command of the 15th Corps gave strong direction, ensuring that the training content was close to reality, maintaining strict order, discipline, and absolute safety.

At the end of the training course, 100% of the trainees met the requirements, many achieved good and excellent results; thereby, contributing to improving the overall quality, level and combat readiness of the unit.

Regarding the live ammunition test (K54 gun (lesson 1) for officers and AK submachine gun (lesson 1) for professional soldiers), thanks to good preparation of facilities, training grounds, weapons, and equipment, during the practice, the forces participating in the live ammunition firing strictly followed the commander's orders; correctly implemented the method and style; mastered the psychology and key movements, ensuring the safety of people, weapons, and equipment. As a result of the test, 100% of the participating forces completed the content well, of which 76.2% achieved good and excellent results.
