The 15th Army Corps conducted a live-fire test.

(GLO) - On September 19th, the 15th Army Corps conducted a live-fire test as part of its 2025 training program for officers and professional soldiers from the Corps' functional agencies and subordinate units stationed in Thong Nhat ward (Gia Lai province).

Attending and directing the shooting range were Major General Hoang Van Sy - Commander of the 15th Army Corps; Colonel Khuat Ba Cao - Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Commander of the 15th Army Corps; and other members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Command of the 15th Army Corps.

According to the 2025 training plan, from August 18th to September 20th, 418 officers and professional soldiers from functional agencies of the 15th Army Corps and affiliated units stationed in Thong Nhat ward participated in political training, training in regulations, shooting with K54 rifles and AK submachine guns (lesson 1), physical training, and military discipline, meeting the requirements of the mission in the new situation.

Despite the many difficulties in balancing professional work and training, the Party Committee and Command of the 15th Army Corps have provided decisive leadership, ensuring that training content is practical, maintaining strict discipline, and ensuring absolute safety.

At the end of the training course, 100% of the trainees met the requirements, with many achieving good or excellent grades; thereby contributing to improving the overall quality, skills, and combat readiness of the unit.

Regarding the live-fire test (K54 rifle (exercise 1) for officers and AK submachine gun (exercise 1) for professional soldiers), thanks to thorough preparation of facilities, training grounds, weapons, and equipment, the participating forces strictly obeyed the commander's orders during the live-fire exercise; performed the correct methods and conduct; mastered the psychology and techniques of the movements; and ensured the safety of personnel, weapons, and equipment. As a result of the test, 100% of the participating forces successfully completed the content, with 76.2% achieving good or excellent results.
