The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has confirmed that Raphinha will miss at least the final group stage match of the 2026 World Cup against Scotland (5 AM on June 25).
For now, the Barcelona winger will remain with the national team and will undergo an intensive treatment program to speed up his recovery from the muscle injury.

Brazil's announcement didn't specify the duration of the injury, but it's highly likely Raphinha won't be able to return before the round of 16. This is considered a fairly serious injury.
The 29-year-old star suffered a right thigh muscle problem during Brazil's 3-0 victory over Haiti in Philadelphia on Friday. He was forced to leave the field with just over 40 minutes of play.
Raphinha's absence is a major blow for coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Not only is he one of the leaders in the dressing room, the Barca player also plays a crucial role in the Italian coach's plan to build a solid defense and sharp counter-attacking team.
Raphinha is also the latest name to join the long list of Brazilian players injured before and during the 2026 World Cup.
Previously, the Selecao had successively lost key players such as Eder Militao, Estevao, Rodrygo, and Wesley due to various fitness issues.
Neymar, in particular, has yet to play despite being named in the squad for the 2026 World Cup. He is expected to make a brief appearance in the final group stage match.
