The Wall band
At their 30th anniversary celebration, in addition to recreating hits associated with the band's history and the youth of many generations of fans, Bức Tường also included many recently composed songs that have been well-received by the public. With the collaboration of Meritorious Artist Cồ Huy Hùng and Meritorious Artist Hoàng Anh, the band incorporated beautiful elements of traditional culture into their rock performance, continuing the journey of spreading Vietnamese culture that Bức Tường has always pursued.
Tran Tuan Hung, the band's leader and music director of the program, shared: "Rock fans have always been waiting for Buc Tuong's return, not just for one or two live shows, but for every musical product and every activity we announce. In the messages and comments we receive, I sense the excitement and anticipation of many generations, from those born in the 70s and 80s to young people born in the 90s and after 2000. I feel nervous before this event, just like the first days I performed on stage with my bandmates."
With 30 years of activity, the band Bức Tường has left a special mark with 7 studio albums and explosive live shows and tours across Vietnam, captivating many generations of music lovers.
In 2016, Tran Lap, the lead singer and songwriter of the band Buc Tuong, passed away, leaving a huge void in the band's history. For the band and their adoring fans, Tran Lap will forever be the soul and inspiration on this glorious journey that was not paved with roses.
