According to a post on Weibo , the staff at the cafe had to think hard to come up with a drink that represents Guangdong province and they decided on chicken coffee.

The post also included a video showing how the unusual drink is prepared. Steamed chicken slices topped with coriander are placed in a glass of ice. The bartender then adds milk and coffee.

This unusual combination has caused a stir on Chinese social media, with many people saying they even clutched their stomachs after reading the news about this drink.

"Isn't it better to eat and drink separately?", one person commented.

Another netizen said the drink was really not tasty.

The wave of outrage shows no signs of stopping, with some people even calling the store to express their anger.

This is not the first time strange coffee variations have appeared in China. Earlier this year, the scallion coffee trend attracted attention on social media platforms in the country of one billion people.

Many foreign news sites such as Oddity Central of the UK or MustShareNews of Singapore,... have reported on the unique beef pearl milk tea noodles recently introduced by a Vietnamese restaurant.
