According to reporters' observations, along the roads of March 23, Pham Van Dong, Le Lai, etc., many items such as streetlights and decorative lights are damaged; banners and posters that have expired or whose content is no longer appropriate are still hanging.
This prolonged situation not only compromises safety but also degrades the urban landscape, making it unsightly and dilapidated.

At the roundabout on Le Lai Street, Dong Gia Nghia Ward, the decorative light cluster with the message "I love Dak Nong " has been damaged and fallen over for a long time, but has not been repaired, fixed, or replaced by the relevant authorities.
Mr. Tran Dinh Chanh, a resident of Dong Gia Nghia ward, said that this area used to be very crowded and clean. However, for many months now, the road has been seemingly "neglected," leaving residents feeling disappointed.
"Even though it's no longer a city and the administrative center has been moved elsewhere, it's still an urban area. Residents want the decorative and lighting features to be regularly maintained to preserve the city's clean, beautiful, and civilized appearance," Mr. Chánh suggested.

On Pham Van Dong Street, Nam Gia Nghia Ward, the decorative LED lighting system is damaged and dilapidated. Many sections of electrical wires are broken and hanging loosely above pedestrians, posing a potential danger.
According to locals, this decorative lighting system was installed about two years ago. Now, every time people pass by, they worry about the risk of electrical leaks or wires getting caught in traffic.
On November 8th, the rope sagged, got caught in the truck bed, and was completely severed.

Ms. Ho Thi Le Quan, a resident of Bac Gia Nghia ward, said: “We are very saddened that many of the city's decorative features have been neglected. In the future, we hope that the authorities at all levels will pay attention to and improve the urban landscape to enhance the quality of life for people in the western part of Lam Dong province.”

Besides the damaged decorative lights, many streets in the Gia Nghia area still have banners, posters, and signs that have expired or whose content is no longer appropriate.
In particular, the problem of garbage overflowing onto the streets and weeds growing profusely on the sidewalks and walkways around the central lake has been a source of frustration for residents for a long time.

In reality, some areas, especially the old administrative center, are showing many shortcomings that leave people feeling disappointed. Many streets that were once highlights of the administrative center have now become dilapidated and lifeless.
