This prolonged situation not only causes insecurity but also makes the urban appearance degraded and shabby.

Mr. Tran Dinh Chanh, resident of Dong Gia Nghia Ward, said that this area used to be very crowded and clean. However, for many months now, the road has been seemingly “abandoned”, making people feel disappointed.

“Even though the city is no longer there and the administrative center has been moved elsewhere, this is still an urban area. People want the decoration and lighting projects to be maintained regularly to preserve the urban appearance, clean and civilized,” Mr. Chanh suggested.

On Pham Van Dong Street, Nam Gia Nghia Ward, the decorative LED lighting system has been damaged and degraded. Many electric wires have been broken and dangling right above the heads of passersby, posing a potential danger.

According to local residents, this decorative lighting system was installed about 2 years ago. Currently, every time people pass by here, they worry about the risk of electric leakage or electric wires getting caught in vehicles.

In particular, the situation of garbage overflowing onto the road and weeds growing wildly on the sidewalks and walkways around the central lake has caused frustration for residents for a long time.

Faced with the situation that many roads in Gia Nghia area have no lighting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested localities to urgently handle the situation and ensure traffic safety for people.

In reality, some areas, especially the old administrative center, are showing many shortcomings that make people feel "disappointed". Many roads that used to be the highlight of the administrative center are now shabby and lifeless.
