David Beckham, global ambassador for the German fashion house Boss, introduces the new Fall/Winter 2025 collection, inspired by the former football star's signature elegant style.

At the press conference launching the collection, David Beckham shared that for many years he had been asked when he would launch his own fashion line. "The collaboration with Boss is exactly what I've been looking forward to, because it gives me the opportunity to do just that," he said.

Although Hugo Boss representatives declined to disclose the sales performance of the initial launch, David Beckham said the response was generally very positive. "People really loved the first collection and I hope they will continue to love this collection and the projects that follow," the former football star revealed.

This collection features suits with sharp shoulder pads and a slim-fitting silhouette, paired with mid-waist trousers and tapered legs; double-breasted flannel jackets in grey plaid paired with cotton poplin or jersey shirts.

Casual-inspired items include ribbed sweaters, cable knit tops, zip-up jackets, cashmere turtlenecks, cotton cargo pants, and jeans.

The jacket collection offers a wide range of options, from black denim jackets lined with cashmere-wool, bond parkas, nylon-cashmere bomber jackets, suede shearling jackets to vintage-inspired trucker jackets in dark brown nubuck leather with cream shearling fur collars.

Accessories also feature workwear-style boots, Chelsea boots, cold-weather sneakers , as well as ties, hats, bags, and small leather goods.

He added that the creative team retained some elements from the first collection, while also refreshing and adding many new products.

What frustrates David Beckham most about working with fashion is when brands stop producing items that are already very popular, and he doesn't want this to happen with Beckham x Boss.

"Nothing is worse than finding the perfect pair of pants or sneakers, only for them to disappear the next season and never reappear. I'm the type who lives by routine: eating at the same restaurants, vacationing in the same places, and the same goes for clothes. If I find a pair of sneakers I like, I'll wear them forever. And that's exactly what we want to create here," David Beckham confided.

"I love this time of year – the feeling of layering, accessories, and clothing that's both beautiful and comfortable. From the very beginning of development, I wanted to create a collection inspired by the cozy feeling I get when I'm at my country home during the colder months," David Beckham explained.

Initially, the team planned to shoot in the Scottish Highlands, but the photoshoot ultimately took place "in an old London house," under the lens of photographers Mert & Marcus and with Trey Laird as creative director.

Turning 50, David Beckham admits his personal style has become increasingly classic. However, he still occasionally breaks the mold, often directly influenced by his children.

David Beckham shared: "Cruz (Beckham's youngest son) likes wide-leg trousers paired with a very stylish double-breasted jacket, and I got that idea from him. I may be older now, but luckily I have three sons and one daughter who always help me stay young."
