
At the conference, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented the brief biographies of the candidates for the 16th National Assembly , electoral unit No. 3, including: Phung Khanh Tai, Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee; Rear Admiral Pham Minh Tuan, Deputy Commander of the Navy; Chamaléa Thi Thuy, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion; Nguyen Che Kim Trung, Teacher, artist, and Head of Fine Arts Department at Le Quy Don Specialized High School - Dong Hai; and Patâu Axá Thi Dem, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ai Dong commune and Chairman of the Women's Union of Bac Ai Dong commune.

For the Provincial People's Council election for the 2026-2031 term, electoral unit No. 15 has 5 candidates, including: Nguyen Tien Duc, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Inspection Committee; Tran Mai Hong, Principal of Chu Van An High School; Tran Hoang Nguyen, Teacher at Thuan Bac Ethnic Boarding Junior High School; Nguyen Van Nhut, Priest and Chairman of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province; and Tran Minh Thai, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Hai commune.
Presenting their action programs, the candidates expressed their honor at being nominated; affirming that if elected by voters as representatives to the 16th National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2031 term, they will strive to fulfill their responsibilities as elected representatives; maintain close contact with voters, be subject to voter supervision; promptly understand the legitimate concerns and aspirations of the people; and truthfully and fully receive and reflect the opinions and suggestions of voters to the competent authorities for consideration and resolution.



The candidates also emphasized the importance of leveraging their abilities and work experience to contribute to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security; improving the quality of education and healthcare; caring for social welfare, especially in remote areas and areas inhabited by ethnic minorities; and contributing to improving people's lives and promoting local development.
In a democratic and frank atmosphere, voters in Vinh Hai commune expressed their agreement with and high appreciation for the candidates' action programs; they requested that the candidates, if elected, continue to maintain close contact with voters, fulfill their stated commitments, and focus on resolving practical local issues.
